  2. Wow…Amazing…we are all homo sapien…yet we are all different and should embrace our differences. We are ALL of mixed ethnic groups regardless of the color of our skin.

    Why be negative about others…what a sad state of affairs to be negative and not appreciate others diversity.

  3. Betty is beyond beautiful. She’s smart and she’s given back to her communities. As the white husband to an asian wife, it’s good to see mixed kids embracing their identities. Whether our kids would endure difficulties being mixed was a concern we had. Being honest, I think that white-asians and white-latins might not face the same problems as some other mixed kids. No person should endure discrimination based on their ethnicity, especially kids.

  6. I don’t understand why her last name is Nguyen when her father is white and her mom is the one who is Nguyen.
    Anyone have an explanation?

  16. modeling agencies in ASIA only HIRE HAPAS…(i.e. half white and asian) because it is considered BEAUTIFUL…where as half black and asian are considered UGLY..NONPROFITABLE…DUMBASSESSSSSSSS!!

    Well that’s a bit ignorant of you to generalize what all Asian consider ugly. Some ‘profitable’ half black and Asian models are Tyson Beckford ( Chinese-Jamaican), Kimora Lee Simmons (Korean-Black), Naomi Campbell (Chinese-Jamaican)… Need I say more? Coming from someone who have mix heritage relativies, the Asian cutlure has grown to embrace all types of mixed kids and WE don’t consider it “ugly”. On the other hand, we do consider people with horrible manners ugly. (i.e You)

    wow, don’t even try to act like either group would accept her anyways. when you’re mixed, no group really fully accepts you as one of their own because you’re never enough. so f-it if she marries whoever she marries. she’s not asian, and she’s not white. she’s mixed. she doesn’t, and she never can, belong to anyone.
