Its main goal and purpose is to promote and protect the dignity and the Human Rights of the Filipino people especially of women and children. The main focus of our work is to assist the sexually-exploited & abused children and provide for them an environment of acceptance and understanding in society. We are dedicated to changing the unjust structures in society that oppress, exploit & deny justice and human rights to children & women. We are a small but pro-active, not-for-profit organization with partners throughout the world networking with us to realize our goals and dreams of a better world for children. The PREDA website www.preda.net introduces you to the PREDA Fair Trade activities which addresses the issues of poverty and strives to provide alternative livelihoods to the rural poor to help them prosper and live a life of dignity in their village homes. The Fair Trade website also provides a complete description with photos of all the products available for export.
That’s the Philippine unjust Justice System. Always one step behind progress, logic and reason. This country is where thieves rule the government and are treated like Gods. The rest are pretty much in this video. Only when inhumane acts are exposed do they apply a band aid solution.
Philippines is a feudal and medieval society living in the 21st century.
Hopeless.

@sandhilldiva Don’t act stupid. You know they have prisons too.

@kalesteinsegek What are you trying to say? Can’t you use dots too? Is that one sentence or two? You must be stupid.

I’m not surprised at this. A bunch of 7 thousand islands of delusional theists, thinking that a real man must be circumcised just because a book from middle eastern mythology says so. Kids with epilepsy not getting proper medication other than exorcism. The day Philippines becomes a 1st world country is a day we’re all gonna celebrate. Until then I’m staying away from there. Lets go to Zanzibar.

But they are right. Rehabilitation is what people need, not punishment. What is punishment going to do if they have a mental problem? If people are good only because they fear punishment and hope for reward, we are a lot sorry indeed.

It’s shocking: even a tiny fraction of all the warmth, nurturing, learning, and love that you used to take for granted — now a rare, as-yet-unearned privilege! And even then — it’s subject to suspension, indefinitely — in the blink of an eye — for any reason, or no reason! — such as infringing (knowingly or not!) upon any one of a billion rules.

This is really fucking sad, but this is a “third world country”. But still they have no right to treat prisoners like that. Juvenile Detention was NOTHING like this..
